Custom Sizing DRAFT (sandbox, not live)

Fixed draft, ready for review. The missing name field and the show/hide script are both fixed below. This page is still not linked anywhere on the site; nothing submitted here should be treated as a real order until it replaces the live Custom Sizing page.

Custom Fit for Every Breed

While our ready-to-wear collections are designed specifically for sighthounds, we understand that dogs of all shapes and sizes deserve premium, perfectly fitted apparel. That's why we offer custom sizing for any breed.

How It Works

  1. Submit Your Request – Fill out the form below with your dog's measurements and details. This custom form asks for a few more measurements than our standard size chart, since a custom garment for a breed outside our usual range needs more to go on than an estimate.
  2. Upload Photos – Include clear photos of your dog standing, with a tape measure left in place for two of the measurements. Full instructions are below.
  3. If you have a particular fabric in mind – Include a photo of the fabric. Note: it must be stretch.
  4. We'll Review Your Request – Our team will assess your dog's measurements and photos to ensure the perfect fit.
  5. Receive Your Quote – We'll contact you with pricing and confirm all details before proceeding.
  6. We Create Your Garment – Once you approve the quote and place your order, we'll craft a one-of-a-kind piece tailored to your dog's exact measurements.
  7. Delivery – Your custom garment will be ready to ship within 1-2 weeks from order confirmation.

Measurement Guide

Accurate measurements are essential for the perfect fit, especially for breeds outside our usual sighthound range where we can't fall back on a standard shape. You'll need a soft measuring tape and the following:

  • Neck Circumference – Around the base of the neck, where the collar naturally sits
  • Chest Girth – Around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs
  • Waist / Loin Girth – Around the narrowest part of the body, just in front of the back legs
  • Back Length – From the base of the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail
  • Ribcage Length – From the base of the neck to the back of the ribcage, shorter than the full Back Length. Helps us proportion the garment correctly across the torso
  • Weight – In kilograms, so we can double check the other measurements make sense together
  • Chest Width – Across the front of the chest, between the two points of shoulder (roughly where a harness strap sits). This one also needs a photo, see below

Two more measurements only apply to certain garment styles, and the form will show or hide them depending on what you pick:

  • Front Leg Length – Inner leg, for the Long Sleeve Sweater and Longjohns
  • Hind Leg Length – Inner leg, for the Longjohns only

For detailed instructions on the standard measurements, visit our Fitting Guide. A dedicated diagram for the full custom measurement set is on its way.

Photo Requirements

Please provide two photos, and for this custom form, both need a tape measure left in place:

  • Front-on photo – Standing naturally, facing the camera. Lay the tape measure across the two points of shoulder (or from the remaining shoulder point to the centre of the chest, if you've indicated a missing front leg below) and keep it visible in the shot. This gives us the chest width measurement
  • Side-on photo – Standing naturally, in profile. Lay the tape measure from the point of the shoulder to the point of the rump, in line with the tail, and keep it visible in the shot. This gives us a visual of your dog's proportions, so we can scale the other measurements against it
  • Good lighting with minimal shadows
  • Dog standing naturally, squared up, not turned or favouring a leg
  • No clothing or harnesses (if possible)

There's also an optional third photo slot in the form below. Use it for a fabric you have in mind, or anything else distinctive about your dog we should know about.

We welcome all dogs, including tripaws and those with other limb differences. There's a section in the form below just for this, so we can adjust the measurements we ask for and plan the right approach for your dog.

Welcome back! Repeat orders for the same dog get a discount: 25% off your 2nd order, 45% off your 3rd order and every one after that. We've hidden the measurements and photos below since we should already have these on file. If your dog's build or fit needs have changed since last time, tick the box below and we'll ask for them again. We'll confirm the exact price when we quote you.

Longjohns aren't available through this form for a missing back leg, since the pattern relies on both back legs for anchoring. If you'd like to explore it anyway, contact us directly and we'll work out the right approach for your dog.
